The all mighty plug in air freshener.

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! I am officially sleeved and leaving the hospital today in great spirits. I would just like to pass a tip along.....buy A plug in air freshener for your hospital room. My goodness I got so many complements on my wonderful smelling room From all the staff. It's funny. I even had One of my nurses come in my room and said she knew I was still here because my room smells heavenly. Everyone wanted to come in and sit with me lol!!! I have a private room so I didn't worry about offending a roommate. It's just a apple and cinnamon glade plug in. It does make the room feel more like "home" than a hospital room???? I just thought I would pass this along...as a comfort measure.

something like vanilla is good in most places...a very non-offensive smell and a natural odor killer :)

but that's a great idea... helps YOU relax too

Adding it to my list. Great idea! I love the fresh cotton/clean breeze kind of scents.

I'm bringing an oil diffuser with natural oils. Hopefully the hospital has no problem with it. I had one when I have birth to my son but it was at a different hospital.

@@LipstickLady I have my own private room so they allowed me to have it. I don't know if It would be different with a shared room? I would have asked permission if I were sharing. @@nprcowboy I got home late last night. My big comfy recliner is now my bed for the next few days my husband and daughter got it all set up for me so I'm comfortable while everyone is gone for the day. It's much easier to drink my fluids sitting up than laying in my bed! Thank you!

I am allergic to air fresheners and the oil diffusers in particular really irritate my eyes, but you did inspire me to dig out a couple of nice CDs (my surgery manual says each room has a cd player).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
