Thanks finediva! I'm thinking I might even take a little more off the top.

IMHO, it looks good, but hey, it's hair, it'll grow back. I confess, after reading your post, I went to my bathroom, locked the door and tried to contemplate cutting my hair. I didn't do it, but may once i reach goal. Maybe as part of a makeover. Thankfully, I haven't been losing any hair. Good job on that gorgeous donation.

My hair started shedding extreme in month 4. It had happened years before with a medication, do I was used to it. The ponytail got smaller and smaller.

Now at 5 & 1/2 it has slowed almost to normal.

I have been getting all my Protein all my Vitamins the extra Biotin.

So to my fellow sleevers it is possible and probable. Keep a positive attitude and know if it happens to you ... It will pass.

I've had a lot of falling hair in the 2 months post-op. It was getting scary to see so much come out. After having long hair since my twenties, I decided to go short in the hopes it would slow down the loss. I donated my braid. Here's a little before and after, and the hair I lost...attachicon.gif ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1416533029.457975.jpgattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1416533044.327567.jpgattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1416533058.096021.jpgattachicon.gif ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1416533072.596860.jpg

@@Lallylocks you look great! How brave of you. You are inspiring me to consider cutting my hair. I haven't noticed any more of it falling out than usual but I know it's coming.

I actually really love it. I lost 0.2 pounds of hair! Lol. Was glad to donate my braid, and hope it is useful for someone. I've had shortish hair before, but forgot how light it feels, and how much simpler it is to deal with. So glad I did it.

Google Telogen effluvium It makes sense about the hair loss even if it doesn't make it easy. My hair has been falling out in handfuls since the middle of October. I am almost 4 months out and am so ready for this to end. But losing weight helps me to not be so bummed about the hair. :o

I am 4 months post surgery and have been losing so much hair it scares me! I have always had thick hair so my husband says you can't tell, but I can totally see it! I have been taking Biotin and trying hard to get all my Protein in. Now I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it stops soon, before I go bald! lol

Just think of all the fun you could have with wigs and extensions :)

While my hair falling out scares me, I find great comfort in knowing some pretty great wig shops and wig makers in my area! I used to wear a different wig everyday just because I could lol

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
