So today is my 2 weeks....first off i would like to say the journey has been actually not too bad. I have only threw up a few times and that was as soon as i was discharged from the clinic...i was so darn thirsty...other than that been good. Have not had a fill yet. Does anyone experience hiccups? All the time? Seems like i drink Water and get hiccups with a sort of ache in my gut. And how is everyone's weight loss? In two weeks prior to surgery to now i have lost 25lbs. Though i am not quite sure where. My pants aren't as tight. And my weight seems to fluctuate a pound or two from day to day...normal water weight? Well i hope a few of you can chime in i would love to hear how others are doing at this 2 week post op time frame.

Congrats! Your date will be here before you know it! So for me the two week diet prior to surgery was tough...i felt like i wanted to have a big fat burger and fries because i knew it would be my last! Lol...i loved muscle milk..full of Protein and keeps you full...i bought a huge powder jug of Cookies and cream! Lol..so surgery was quick. The only pain i experienced was my left side. And i honestly felt good when i took my pain meds but it made me so tired. And i was always thirsty...when i woke up from surgery my throat felt like i had been screaming at a concert all night but it was bearable...and i felt super bloated....i had to ask my husband if my stomache always looked so puffy. It was like gas and cramps...all of which were not too bad because i was so excited. Wear comfy clothes! That seemed to help!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
