I put my 6 on the desk in the morning and by the time I leave, they are gone.

They are good for you at any time...just don't take along with your Iron pills, they don't work well together

I was given soluble calcium citrate with vit D3 to take twice a day when I left hospital. As I understand it I have to continue with that indefinitely.

I started taking my liquid Calcium a couple days after surgery. Never used the chews, too many calories and carbs for my plan

I started preop. But my 6 month labs showed high Calcium so I quit taking them. I do eat a lot of dairy, but will recheck levels with12 month blood work.

@@juls0102, I started my chews after the surgery. I would ask your physician because your blood work will tell is your are deficient.

I stopped because I was instructed not to take anything for 72 hrs or so before surgery. I'm not sure what the rationale is behind it, and I'm sure this varies from surgeon to surgeon. Hope this helps answer your question.

I started taking them the day after surgery. I was worried how they would feel in my stomach because everything else was liquid but they haven't given me any problems.
