Hairloss percentages ?

Recommended Posts

Couldn't give you a number, but I had no noticable Hair loss at all......just a few strays around the house.

I am not sure of the percentage but i can personally say that i did lose some hair after the surgery.

My nutritious and medical support team warned me that this could be possible. I was told to make sure i got the adequate amount of Protein each day and i will see my hair grow back and stronger nails. Also with the help of my daily Vitamins.

I had no Hair loss at all. This could be a good poll for Alex to post.

Probably 50%. I think I have most of it back now, but not all of it.

I didn't lose much if any. The best thing you can do to prevent Hair loss (and have a successful recovery) is to get your Protein, Vitamins and Water.< /p>

I got all of my Protein every day. I took all Vitamins religiously. I did everything right; and I wasn't that lucky. I think plenty depends on genetics and while not doing things right might contribute to Hair loss, there is nothing you can do to prevent it if its going to happen to you. I think mine was more severe than a lot of people, but most people do lose some. Its pretty distressing when it happens, but it does come back.

I'm going through it right now. It's pretty significant. The below pic is from today's shower (drain fur ball + gentle combing)...this has been going on for a few weeks now. Hoping it lets up really soon.

I didn't have Hair loss either, but when I chose surgery I resigned myself to the possibility. I think it is partly heredity but also making sure you take your Vitamins, and eat quality Protein, veggies, & plenty of good fats like avocado and cocnut and olive oil.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
