Cost difference for Canadians for surgery in Mexico?

Recommended Posts

Iam In The pre stage on deciding which clinic to go to in Mexico....I was quoted a price through a Canadian company who looks after everything (flights as well). The cost was 12k US...but what I'm reading on here says the surgery/hotel less the flight would only cost 4500US...my return flight is under 3k.....if I were to book it? Any advice would greatly help, I live in the Arctic so will be going a long way for this....is it worth the extra 6k to have a turn key deal? Thanks

I'm from alberta and I paid 4500 us for my surgery and then used airmiles for my flight! The Shuttle picked me up at the San Diego airport took me to my airport, and the looked after everything! I think 12000 is a bit much! There is lots of great doctors in the 4500 range!

@@Crha, you may wanna look into Specialized Bariatrics , Mexico Bariatric Center, or Alighterme. All companies in the U.S. Their price ranges from $3900-$4500 US

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
