October 6th, 7th and 8th Sleevers Please Acknowledge Yourselves!

Hey everyone, I know we have an October thread but I wanted to create one specifically for those of us being sleeved on next Monday and Tuesday. I think it would be awesome for us to support each other and actually follow each other post-op.

I'm being sleeved on Tuesday, October 7th! Wow still can't believe I have 6 days remaining. I'm not nervous at all just excited and ready to start my journey. My husband thinks something is wrong with me because I'm not nervous lol.

Like many of you I've been battling my weight since childhood. I'm 35 years old with a BMI of 44 and 5 months ago I said no more diet pills and no more starving myself for only a 10 lbs lost. I've never been below 200 lbs. in my adult hood.

Guys I told my mom yesterday and now I'm regretting it. Her response was the following "why don't you just diet" :(. I couldn't believe it, I absolutely could not believe it. Anyway I had to brush that off very quickly and continue my conversation with my mom without exposing my true feelings. I'm not discouraged just wishing I wouldn't had sad anything.

I'm moving forward, all my thoughts are centered around Tuesday morning. I wish all of you the best and please keep each other lifted up pre and post op.

Hi! I am a October 8, 2014 sleever! Nice to meet everyone. I need some suggestions for Protein. The only one I am presently using is Atkins shakes with 11 ounces and 15 grams protein. I need more variety and don't want to keep buying brands and then not liking them. They are too expensive. I would appreciate suggestions!!

I was sleeved Oct 7th. My starting weight was 232.8 my weight now is 211.7!!!

I am totally amazed how quickly I have lost! Feel better than I have in years. Already cleaning out closet.

I was sleeved on the 8th. Have lost 16 lbs (total 27 from HW)!

I love Atkins Protein shakes (vanilla and choc) and add Isopure unflavored (2 scoops-50 grams protein) and I drink it throughout the day. It's a whopping 65 grams of protein so that meets my daily req.

I was sleeved Oct 7 and started at 216. The day of surgery I was 191 and now I'm 172.

Congratulations ! I was sleeved the next day on the 8th. High weight was 228. Surgery day was 216 and today 198 !!! Also lost 6 inches of my dreaded belly fat ! Yahoo! Luckily I didn't have the 3 week stall.

Hello October sleevers how is everyone doing ???

I was sleeved October 6th. As of last week, I've lost 140 pounds since the day of surgery. I've taken this whole process terribly seriously and now I can finally relax a little now that I am in maintenance. Of course, I know I still have to put the work in to keep the weight off, but at least I can start eating a little more.

My weight loss is surprising to me since my restriction isn't as great as others. I can easily eat a cup of anything. It's more about making smart choices and only eating during planned times. I would love to hear how others are doing.

Wow!!!! 140lbs!!! Are you at your goal weight?? Congratulations!!! You should be very proud of yourself. My surgery was August 8 and I've lost 70 pounds so far about 20 more to go....I am be very happy with my results so far...this was the best decision of my life!!!
