so 4 years ago this December I decided to do my lap band. I lost 20 lbs before surgery. I went in weighing 356 lbs. I lost weight right away. Notice a huge difference. I went almost 3 years no problems. I decided I was going to go get a breast job, Tummy Tuck and some Lipo. At this point I'm down to 230. I ask my lap band dr should I have band released before surgery he says no you are fine. I under go my tummy tuck & lipo 2 weeks later I do breast job. I'm trying to recover but I'm not healing very fast. I eat Pasta for dinner the night before I'm still Vomitting 24 hours later I get a fever I'm not doing well. I'm rushed to ER. There's an infection in my boob job ( it was a lift & implants ) I'm decades they need to remove 1 implant. I can't put back in untill January this happen in October. I'm at hoag hospital they won't release my because I'm Vomitting can't keep ice chips down 2 weeks goes by still in hospital my blood pressure and heart rate jobs so low they keep a jumper pack right next to me. I'm telling them it's my band in lifeless at this point. My lap band dr out of town my plastic surgeon calls his friend that's a lap band dr he comes release my band. I was over fool band only holds 10 I was almost 11 current dr doesn't understand how I didn't burst. I was not healthy that's why the infection my body was week. They made me eat and eat and eat before they would fill band. So I ate I went from 230 to 250. I was not happy. Finally fill my band to 7.5 I went down to 227. Went had 2 more tummy tucks lipo and breast job. I recovered fast. I was not sick. Before I had second tummy tuck i released my band and filled when I was healed. I'm now 220. Still losing from swelling surgery was 3 weeks ago. Would I do it all over ? Hell yes I went from size 30-32 to juniors 14 :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
