Surgery Date....October 8th

I'm not hungry at all... just emotionally hungry, getting a divorce too, since hubby wasn't supportive and chose to party while I was in the hospital so I think it's causing a lot of my pain and emotional buttons saying to eat

Im sorry men can be so dumb. When you have your new body he will only get to look & wish he supported you. My husband has been with me every step. The good thing about this surgery is you cant eat or it will make you very sick. I have realized since the surgery on how much my life revolved around food. We all have these food eating emotions & hope some day these emotions will pass or improve. The pain is really there I tried to come off them to early because they made me sleepy big mistake. You need to stay on top of it. If the pain catches up its so much harder to get under control. Do you have anyone at home to help you?

I have my 14 year old daughter who helps me. Got some go workers trying to find a room for me and my daughter to rent so I can be away from the emotional abuse.

I'm thankful for a co-worker who went thru the surgery last year, she's taking me to a pre op panel, she thinks it will helps speaking to people planning on getting the surgery.

Thats good I am glad you have support. One thing I learned a long time ago is love doesnt hurt. I bet you will do better away from all the abuse. Plus you can show your daughter what not to put up with. I wish there was more I could do to help.

Sorry to hear that but there are a lot of folks who will listen and talk to you on here. I have a good support group at home and on here.

Keep sipping flavored Water as it helps.

I have work next Friday but I think I am going to postpone it another week to make sure I am okay

Had mine October 6th too. So far, so good. Following everything the doctor said and trying to get all my Vitamins down.

Do you have chewables? They go down well.

Congrats on your surgery

Have you taken it with crystal light as that helps a lot

So happy everyone is recovering well. I've been able to hold down whatever I eat with no problems. Dream of crunch , even a salad: ) I've been doing cream of chicken Soup made with skim milk and drained, Tomato Soup. V8 juice, sugar free pudding thinned with milk, cream of wheat thinned a lot with cinnamon and sugar free maple Syrup, Protein Shakes. Taking Vitamins well.

I had surgery on October 3 it was a Friday and was more than ready to go back to work on October 6th that Monday. Didn't require any additional time off. I work in a doctors office.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
