  7. Just had my gall bladder out after the third week of my gastric bypass. My big issues is not being able to hold down my Protein drinks. I can handle general protein, but every drink I try makes me ill. Frustrated as I want to succeed and have been but know I need more protein than the 50 I am receiving a day. Any help would be appreciated

  11. That is awesome. I am happy that I have lost 29 pounds since I had my surgery 15 days ago.

  13. I had the surgery on the 8th of October and now I am on soft foods like cottage cheese, greek yogurt, broth, and of course Protein shakes and Water. I am hoping to add tuna and eggs in the very near future.

  16. I don't drink 30 minutes before I eat or 30 minutes afterwords. Just something I know that will help me overall and has worked well so far.
  17. I am ten days out from RNY and have three Protein shakes a day which comes to 600 carlories and 70 grams of protein My doctor wants another 5 grams of protein at least. I have been eating cottage cheese or yogurt about half a cup a day. It is another 50 calories. I also drink 48 oz. of Water a day and have a cup of broth as well. Am I eating to much? I will say my blood sugars have been really good with a fifth of the medicine I used to take, I have morning sugars of 100-120 since I have gotten home from the surgery. Sorry to babble, just want to do well and not fail once again.
  18. Where did you find those little whey bullets? I am interested for sure
  19. Did you have the bypass, sleeve or the lap band?
  20. What have you've been able to eat? I am still two weeks away I think from food. How long are you out from surgery?
  21. Have you taken it with crystal light as that helps a lot
  22. Do you have chewables? They go down well. Congrats on your surgery
  23. Thanks for the info, as I needed it
  24. Nothing wrong with you. Sometimes it just takes one's body longer to adjust. If it keeps up, call your surgeon. Hope things get better soon
  25. I have found nothing for the gassiness as of yet either. Just something I need to get used to while my body adjust to the new plumbing Good luck to all in their journey
  26. Sipping stinks but you have to do it many times an hour every hour. Flavor water helped me, maybe it will help you as well.
