Question! Help!

So in the past few days Every time I eat anything I get super bloated! It's been 9 months since my surgery, I've always had Constipation problems my whole life but I've also kinda been going regularly and I'm still bloated... Does anyone else have this problem... Do y'all think it's related to the band? I have a check up next week (I'm already to my green zone so it's just a follow up) but yeah...

Going to the bathroom has been a challenge for me ever since I was banded. Talk to your doctor and find out what will work best for you. I take stool softener, a prescription med, and I get accupuncture just to help me go regularly. It's a pain in the neck for sure but I'll take it over being morbidly obese and unable to walk without a cane.

I mentioned this to my doc a couple of visits ago. I have struggled with Constipation more since the surgery last September. I take stool softeners and magnesium each day to help out. At the time of the appt., I was feeling bloated and gassy. He suggested a probiotic. To be honest, I haven't started taking it. Whatever was going on at that time has worked itself out. Have a conversation with your doc :) Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
