Laughing my butt off = LMBO ...Peek !

I had hummus today, and my egg, and a cup of vanilla milk. Also go in my GENEPRO Protein Powder ! Which is perfect timing since I can't handle any more Protein shakes.

I also went shopping at five places today... Party City, Michaels, Vitamin Shoppe, Halloween Store, and Grocery store.. I"m telling you.. I was about to fall asleep at the grocery store !

Rest this evening !!!

Good to see everyone is doing well. I finally got in two miles and I feel amazing! Can't wait until the new fitbit charge HR hit the market!!! I just seen a commercial on YouTube it's a pedometer and heart rate monitor. Two birds, one stone.

Until we all move to the other board I'm posting twice☺️

Who said they were going to move this board? The address already changed to Monthly Gastric Sleevers ... I don't think this board is going anywhere...

Sleeved Oct 7 and I have hit that dreaded three week stall. I haven't lost any inches in a week and no weight loss for four days..I'm also still exhausted. I feel like I could sleep all day and all night! I'm so depressed because I feel like this isn't going to work for me like everything else. Anyone ever feel this way?

@@elturner, I can totally understand your frustration. But let's just do a quick reality check, almost everyone hits a stall at one point or another. You WILL lose weight again. Please, just keep working the program and the weight will continue to drop. I have never heard of anyone just losing "a few pounds."

I hope you come out of your depression soon.

Elturner

I was sleeved on the 7th as well and haven't loss a great deal either. Im just trying to stay positive because I know im following the rules and that we all lose differently. It seems most people have lost in there first week what I lost in 3 weeks. We will support each other and keep moving ahead ok? Are you going to the bathroom like you should? And not getting too much sodium? Those broths and creamed Soups can be very high in sodium and make you retain Fluid. Hang in there.:-)

Can't remember who asked about the yogurt, but I add a tiny bit of honey, a little less than a teaspoon and I eat the 0% fat Fage total and I love it.

For those who are 3 weeks out, hitting their stall and feeling exhausted, that's your body adjusting to the lack of calories and going into starvation mode. Mind over matter. You have to force yourself out of bed, exercise, get your heart rate up and then your body will realize it HAS to burn fat in order to keep up with what you want it to do and you'll get out of your funk faster. Good luck!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
