Dr. Guillermo Alvarez PT'S and Scarring from Incision

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!

Wondering if any former patients of Dr. Alvarez would be willing to address scarring and incisions? I am terribly and healer, so I am concerned about that. I want to be able to wear a bikini..sigh..oneday. I have even been considering single incision with other docs (Dr. Diaz, Dr. Lopez, Dr. Garcia, etc.) but Dr. Alvarez seems so solid. Would be great if someone would post pics:)

Thank you!

This is no help, I'm sure, but I had my sleeve done with him yesterday. I'll be here until til tomorrow He and the other doctors working with him been totally pro, and everybody here has been super nice. If you don't get any helpful answers here, perhaps you could email Susan in the his office and ask her if she has any pics?

Congrats on surgery! That's awesome:) Glad everything went well. I have emailed Susan who is very nice and helpful. She only had on pic though. I was just curious in general to see if anyone has any feedback. Thanks for responding:)

FWIW, now that it's over, my incisions are teeny tiny, and they did talk to us about when to start using a scar prevention lotion. I'd be very surprised if these incisions scar badly. I got out yesterday, and the whole experience was A+.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
