In two days I will be 3months out of surgery and all the sudden I'm hungry all the time. I feel like I could eat a full meal, when only last week 3 bites of chicken made my stomach hurt. What happened?? How do I fix this??

I'm 10 weeks post op & I'm having the same issue. I can only eat 3oz & then i'm full. I try to drink Water & that helps with this hungry feeling.

I'm a little over two months and I noticed if I don't keep my carbs down to 30g or less, I'm hungry all day. Also this is what happens to me if I don't drink enough Water.< /p>

I too get the munchies when my carbs get too high, even if it's "good' carbs like apples, grapes, strawberries, or pineapple. Low glycemic carbs from Beans, lentils, squash, and other Fiber rich vegetables don't have the same effect.

Here's my blog post about the 1st time I realized what was happening to me when I ate carbs post-op. http://www.bariatricpal.com/blog/9018/entry-31170-confession-time-the-spaghetti-monster-almost-got-me/

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
