How are you doing? I had my sleeve on the 17th. I'm doing good on the purée diet...it's hard to think of things sometimes especially when family is eating a full meal. I'm down 16 lbs from the start of my pre surg diet. I'm only trying to weighing myself once a week on Wednesday. Hope you are doing good!

I am doing great. I'm still on a clear diet, in two more days I start full liquids (protein shakes and cream soups). I now weigh 203. Down 25 pounds so far this month. I stayed back to work today and found sitting was HARD! I just got home and got to put my feet up and lay down...much better!

Wow I can't believe you are back to work! I am out for six weeks. I do a lot of heavy lifting, pushing, & pulling so my dr reccomended me to stay out longer. I don't think I would have the energy for it right now never mind the strength. Make sure you take it easy, don't try to do so much all at once. Your body is still healing. 25 lbs is awesome!!! Congrats...I'm trying to only weigh myself once a week on Wednesdays it's hard to wait but I'm trying. I never thought I would excited to go on the scale!lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
