I went in for a fill Thursday may I add it had to be approved before I could go original apt was canceled because they said insurance didn't want to pay for my fill because how much weigh I've lost....anyways I've been having pain in my port area been told the doctor but he said all was fine well my doctor sticks the needle in and ohhh your port flipped so he grabs it with one hand an flips it with the other now I'm really sore. So I'm waiting for them to call me with my surgery date. Really not too worried about it but I do have some concerns. So I'm wondering if anyone can give me info on this what should I expect. I'd like to hear from someone who has been through it as well.

Hi! My port flipped after 2 years of placement and I had a new one put in. Didn't even have a general anesthesia, was so simple. Just gave me loopy drugs and local anesthesia. A bit painful afterwards for a week or so but not major. Ended up being a total waste of money and time for me as my band was empty and I never got another fill after the revision; but I wasn't to know that at the time! Got my band removed today after almost 11 years. Feels weird already!

I'm having same issue but so far in one year I lost 100lbs,I don't have any restrictions at all.the doctor was only able to add 3cc and due to the pain from all that pocking I hold him to stop...I go and see him every 3 months and he keeps telling me let's continue doing the same right now as soon I stop loosing weight than he recommended to do surgery to fix my flipped port....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
