Super congrats!!! Any celebration plans for when you meet your personal goal?

I know what you mean about not realizing the condition you were in until you were out of it. So glad to hear you're enjoying the new life and the new you. :)

Thank you!!! I think i am still in shock...

@Ava324 - Thats a good question... i think about it, but have no idea...Maybe some new clothes & new shoes... and some new undies since these are falling off... LOL

however I told my hubby, once i hit my goal & stay there for one year, i want to get a boob lift... so maybe that will be my reward... just will have to wait a year for it. LOL

Definitely treat yourself to some shopping. Shopping feels so good now. Like cross-addiction good. :) I go to Goodwill a couple times a month so I have more temp wardrobe options. I JUST threw out the last of my 26/28 panties yesterday. They'd become very loose shorts. lol! I still haven't figured out these new underwear sizes. Mine had come strictly from Cacique for years.

you are doing awesome! I will be 6 months out in a few days and have only lost 56 lbs. I have another 18lbs to go to my first goal and if I ever make it to there I may try another 10. What is your secret I am in a little bit of a stall and I just want it to keep moving. I feel like I have been a slower loser anyway but any advice would be great. What are your typical meals like now?

Great job! Have you taken a recent picture and put it next to your before pic? How inspiring you are! I start my 2 week liquid diet tomorrow so I took my before photos tonight. I can't wait to compare in 3 months.

@acampbell1318 - You will get there!!! I try not to stress out about the stalls.. I just came out of a really long stall.. it is what it is... I look at it this way, i am down X amout of weight and that is better then where i started from... I know in time i will lose if i keep doing what my dr & nut set up for me. To be honest, i wish i was a little bit of a slower loser, i am starting to see the effects on my skin from losing so fast...

I try to eat mostly whole foods (very little processed - just a handfull of items and thats it)

Every morning: (and yes i mean every morning) I have an egg white with a slice of Am cheese. (sometimes i have 2 egg whites, but most times i cant eat all of it) some times i have 1/2 of a whole grain english muffin and one egg white w/chz.. (only once or twice a week)

Mid morning: i will have one of the following - half apple, Protein shake, nuts, fruit, rolled up turkey breast with cheese or greek yogurt.

Lunch: one of the following: steak, shrimp, chicken and if i have room, maybe a small spring salad (we are talking 1/2 cup for all of this) or some kind of raw veggie (but only like one or two bites then im full) - some times its chicken salad (very little light mayo) with few slices of cheese, and maybe 1/2 apple or 4 triscuits...

Mid afternoon: (sometimes i skip this cause i am not hungry, but if i am it might be the rest of my lunch or one of the Snacks already listed above)

Dinner: some kind of meat/fish... (normally its a long the lines of lunch) If i go out to eat, i have left overs for lunch & dinner for a few days...

Snack: (not always but maybe 2 times a week - some frozen yogurt (about 1/8 - 1/4cup) really its just a taste...

I stay away from all pork products, and most processed foods - my new tummy just doesnt like it. I dont really care for ground meats anymore either... its too heavy for me.

I only drink Water, skim milk, Protein shakes, once in a while i will have unsweeten Tea or G2 low cal. (but not too often) - also i dont drink but maybe 2-3 oz of wine MAYBE once or twice a month... my new tummy just doesnt like it... but my brain does LOL

I also walk every day... Some days i try to add running/jogging into it. I just started riding my bike again...

I pretty much do the same thing everyday, becuase its what works for me... Dont worry you WILL get there!!!

I have posted some pictures... but i will see if i can get a picture taken today and post it - Thanks everyone - i love this site, the support is awesome... sometimes it just what we need!!! Happy Tuesday!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
