  11. Honestly, I think there's been a negative effect on my cognition.. Since surgery, I suffer from frequent afternoon "fuzzy brain". I'm pretty much zapped at the end of the work day and I make many more mistakes. Especially typos, and I'm often kicking myself for sending a team-wide email with gibberish. Or I'll create a calendar entry with subject "Deadlineinee to..." What?! It's similar with getting a point across verbally in the afternoons. I'll have to take long pauses because I lose train of thought and am trying to get it back..
  12. Whoa! You are smokin'. My goal is around 135-140, and I hope I look that good. My body wants so badly to be above 150. ><
  13. Thanks, and congrats to you both! Can't wait to see y'all's "afters".
  14. First pic was taken Christmas Eve, two weeks after surgery. After I'd already lost 14 lbs pre-op and still on liquids.. Second pic from yesterday - taken by our personal trainer after a very sweaty session. Now I'm just 17 lbs away from goal. Hubby hasn't had surgery, but he's lost 65 lbs of his own. So proud! We run our first 5K today.
  15. Great piece! Now what's that treat pictured, and how can I make it? Yum.

  17. You look incredible, and so very happy! Congrats.
  18. Thanks! Now I actually enjoy pictures being taken of me. ><
  19. Thanks!! It's definitely the shortest it's ever been, and I'm so glad I went for it. Honestly, I cut it out of necessity. I have fine hair, and to me the hairloss was becoming too noticeable. The bob helped a lot.
  20. This is my first time posting pics, so I hope it works.. The first picture breaks my freaking heart. I'm so sad for myself... Hiding a double chin behind a kitten. I look unbearably miserable. But on a positive note, I have to give a big shout-out to my supportive hubby. He's dieted (larger portions lol) and exercised with me. I couldn't enjoy the success and attitude I've had without him by my side. He starts with a personal trainer of his own today, and I'm bursting with pride. He's lost 50+ lbs already, and we're both feeling great.
