I haven't lost anything in over a week! I can't figure out why I'm not dropping weight! What's wrong with me! I was sleeved on June 2nd and lost about 15 the first week and a half. Now I'm completely stopped! Advice needed!

O....I know this feeling. I was sleeved the same day and lost 26 lbs after surgery. Now it has been a long painful week without any loss...from what I have read online this is semi-normal. :(. Not what I wanted to hear!

I am with you all. I am a June 2 sleeve and have really not lost for a week. I have looked over my calories which are around 700 and I am walking 2.5 to 3 miles per day. Very frustrating.

My calories are around the same....but im not walking that much! I still have some left sided pain. Feels like muscular pain near incisions. I'm just too sore to really do too much.

It does make me feel better to hear that I am not alone! I have been trying to exercise too! It was falling off like crazy in the beginning and to have it come to a complete stand still is beyond frustrating.

Same here. June 3 sleeve and I have stalled for the last week.

I had my post-op appointment on June 20th and my Doc said to shoot for 1,000 - 1,200 calories a day and that the weight would melt off. Well, it is not working yet. Intellectually, I know it is just my body slipping into starvation mode. At 1,000 to 1,200 there is no way I will not lose weight long term. However, it is frustrating nonetheless. I am tempted to go back to two shakes a day like right after surgery when I was still losing, although I know this would be the wrong answer.

Patience sucks. I want to be thin now.

It's the "3 week stall". We promise it passes. It's very, very frustrating but it will pass. Stick to the program.

I'm 7 months post-op. The stalls will come and go all the time, please don't worry about them, stay on track and focused on your meal plans, plenty of Water, all Proteins, Vitamins and exercise.

Don't get discouraged, your body is still adjusting to the major surgery and trying to figure out how to handle your food intake!!

If you stick to it, you Weill succeed!! But most definitely expect stalls to be part of your new life style!!

I'm still a slow loser but my experience is losing inches more than pounds, for someone that's dealing with injuries and very little activity and exercise, my wls continues to be successful. I've gotten used to the stall, you will too!

Stay positive and hydrated! : )

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
