Funny how these same people watch us suffer and fail at every diet, and don't call us cheaters, and then when we find a tool to use with a diet we are cheating, go figure

I love Kaylee's response about asking those who say it's cheating to tell why it's cheating. We still have to eat right and exercise just the same as those who supposedly "aren't cheating." It's actually more difficult for us now because we have more eating restrictions to adhere to than someone who hasn't had wls. So believe me when I say it's in no way cheating! I tell everyone that I had wls because I could care less what they say or think. But that's me and I know everyone is different. Please don't let anyone make you feel bad for having the surgery. I wish you all much success now and in the future!

I heard was told today by a lady I work with that she wasn't going to "cheat" and have WLS like so and so. This is why I have told no one at work! I was like yea this is cheating. How many times have you done 3 weeks of liquid diet! Do that then get back to me and tell me I'm cheating!

Don't let anyone discourage you. I work with someone who is very heavy but had lost 50 lbs on weight watchers and she gives me the same vibe. I hate to tell her that her lost weight will return but mine won't. That gives me the motivation to be successful for life.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
