I am 1 week out tomorrow from surgery. The past two days I have been having muscle spasms mainly in my legs. It is a quick jolt--almost like a wave and then nothing. Anyone know what I mean or how to make it stop?

I would contact your doctor. When I get that I take Magnesium. But check with the doctor first.

What could be causing this HORRIBLE ITCHING?! I know it means you're healing. But this is crazy! It kept me up most of night even with benadryl! :(

Magnesium as well for itching. I recommend Calm Magnesium and taking Epsom Salt baths (if you're far enough out from surgery to take a bath). I just had a horrible spell of itching and after doing a lot of research added the magnesium and within two days I saw a huge improvement.

Calm magnesium comes in a powder that you mix with Water. It also helps with BMs if you're stopped up.

Sometimes the leg cramps are a result of being a little dehydrated. I get them when I drink less than 64 oz. of Water. I also take a magnesium supplement, but it's a powder that I mix with still more water. However, it's always a good idea to see your doctor. Each person is a little different.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
