I have surgery in two days and it never occurred to me to ask my surgeon when I could go back to full activities until my husband asked me tonight. I'm guessing 8 weeks like exercising??

8 weeks?!?! :o:wacko:

No (thank God!), my wife was sleeved exactly two months after me and we waited about 2 weeks...no trapeze or swings,we just took it easy and all was fine.

Now, 13 months out for me and 11 months out for my beautiful bride....well, let's just say we're like newlyweds! :D

Good luck and Godspeed for a quick recovery...you're in for one heck of a journey! :)

I was sleeved on the 5th and my Dr said 1-2 weeks depending on how I feel. It was the highlight of my discharge meeting!

Wow I like your doctors! Lol mine told us to wait 5-6 weeks. I think he's nuts.. but 1-2 weeks sounds a lot more reasonable!

My dr said two weeks, and I could have sex as tolerated.

Whenever you feel up to it and no circus performance. 4 days here. No reason to wait if you have the urge ...

8 weeks ... Sheesh!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
