Looking for July Sleevers!

Recommended Posts

My surgery is tomorrow. I feel really weak and tired today. I think that is due to the liquid diet I have been on. I have to report to the hospital at 5:30am. Maybe it will happen before I am fully awake and have time to think about what I am doing. I am not very nervious yet. Hope I stay that way!

I think my last post was lost in translation. So here is what I was thinking off.

I am 4 days post op. Finally home from Mexico. I have so many ideas that would make stay not only your stay more comfortable but your companions also. As soon as I'm up and feeling 100% I will get that done.

Don't regret a minute of it. Those that still have it to come Your life is going to change for the best and you are already healthier!!

HI, I had my surgery last monday and I'm 23 lbs down from the weight taken at hospital intake, 13 lbs loss from the preop official last weight taken by the bariatric team i'm working with. that's pretty impressive for 8 days. i'm ready to be off the liquid diet but since it's been so effective i am able to stick with it till friday when i can start on soft foods.

my scale came today and wouldn't turn on. argh!

I was sleeved yesterday. My doc said my surgery was textbook, and I didn't even have any pain meds after. Little gas and nausea right after surgery, but nothing unmanageable. Now I'm home working on sip sip sip, walk walk walk. :)

I was sleeved this past Monday. Came home yesterday afternoon. No real issues. Just a little sore but walking helps. I hope to take in more liquids tomorrow. Today was slow going but I got in 1 shake and 1 bottle of Water plus 2 sugar free Popsicles.

I'll be sleeved on the 29th! I'm so ready! I've been losing weight like crazy on this liquid diet, so it gives me a lot of hope that this surgery will do wonders to help me control my intake! Down 16lbs since starting liquids, 5 more days until I'm sleeved! Hoping to hit 20 lost before surgery!

The pre op diet is very hard but for me it got much easier after the fourth day. I'm also having mine at ecmc with dr. Carauana on Monday. Good luck to you.

Dr Carauana is doing my surgery on Monday the 28th. The pre op diet is also difficult for me. I know it will be worth it in the long run.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
