Good evening and Happy Hump Day to all.

Has anyone tried Veet waxing strips for their arm pit hairs? Does it hurt bad?

How long between waxings?

Thank you for your help.

Arlene

I haven't tried the Veet version, but I have the done armpit waxing before. It's not bad, really. At least it's not nearly as painful as private part waxing..for what it's worth! I think the best advice I've heard is not to let the hair grow too long between waxes. Good luck!

The first times hurt the worst and then it gets less and less painful each time you wax. I think the armpit is the least painful, then comes legs and then the privates are like.. oh god.

I've tried the waxing strips in the past, twice, once for underarms/legs and once for facial hair. I find that sometimes the wax sticks to the skin in some areas and doesn't rip out all of the hairs.. So you have to go over a few times. I think normal wax is better and cheaper too. I used the peel off wax instead of those white waxing strips.

I think I used to wait about 3 weeks between waxing underarms, so way better than shaving..

You can order a spray or cream online (unless you are brave and have a porn shop close by) that is basically lidocaine. It's the stuff for men to last longer...:-P. But makes waxing the privates much less painful.

I am sure it works on legs too. Never waxed my armpits, assumed it would hurt way too bad. Funny, I thought it would hurt worse than a Brazilian. LoL

I think waxing myself is much more painful than going to a salon too!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
