Week 2: May 27-31st Sleevers

Can you believe we all have tini-tiny stomachs now? What a week its been. Some have had remarkable painfree success and some have been downright miserable. At this stage everyone is in totally different places as far as food/liquid/nutrition. For those on Clear liquids for awhile longer, if you didn't know, Isopure makes a clear drink thats 40g Protein. Its sold at some GNC stores. Might help get some protein in while being kind to your new stomach.

I hope by the end of this week everyone is feeling fantastic!

Here is the run down! I have an idea, let me know what you guys think... What I can start doing next week after we all lose the excess surgery Fluid... so everyone can see easily how much everyone has lost, is each week we can weigh in Mondays and I can put it after your name on the new Tuesday thread. It would be great to be able to see how everyone is doing at a glance - ie (lylabelle -6). It will be fun the first few weeks when we will probably all be dropping really well (except week 3 is typically a stall). You guys can message your number to me if you want so we keep our thread clean and filled with tips, tricks, recipes, annoyances and NSVs! Let me know what you think. Love this group!

According to my diet, tomorrow im supposed to move on to pureed and mashed food, I Tbsp per meal at first so I'll mostly stay on protein shakes and try a little yogurt and mashed food here and there. I feel like I need a transition from shakes to food. Surgery was week ago today and down 9 pounds in a week so no complaints. I keep thinking tuna seems harsh to send down early on but maybe some thin sliced ham and a little mashed banana.

Has anyone tried any of these? I has one today and it wasn't too bad, I recommend ice! But 40g of protein in 20oz!! zero carb! A little pricey but worth it occasionally!

Try not to be jealous we all have the tool to lose most of our excess weight and look amazing in time. We will all get there in our time. This is the last place numbers should matter.

Thanks for all the info, I'm falling short on fluids and know the importance will help me make them important.

Anyone else having back pain when they sleep?

So over Jello and broth too.

Count me in if we make a Facebook page- it might be easier to follow. And keep track of posts...

Post op appointment in the am. What a week!

Have a good night everyone.

Anyone using an app to track their intake? Suggestions?

Sandunehill - best app I use is my fitness pal. You log your water in take. Best thing is you can scan the bar code on items and it automatically loads the nutrition information in and you can adjust serving sizes. Let me know if you have any questions!!

If everyone is up for a Facebook page we can make it private and secret so no one will even know it exists. I don't mind either way. But I know some don't have Facebook

I am game for FB page. What a great idea!

I'm up for a fb group. I too use myfitnesspal and find it to be very helpful. I also use a fitbit! ;)

I have three different flavors in my fridge. Tried one. They have a terrible texture or taste or something. I guess if I couldn't do anything else but at this point, no way.

Might need to try that!

Count me in for a Facebook page. Love that idea. Fitness Pal is my favorite. Another one my friends trainer told her to use was Lose It. He said it was better than fitness pal for some reason but can't remember. I also just added my weight into the app WeightDrop. I like seeing the totals and graphs.

Hey people I am so excited to tell you that we solved the GAS and runs problem that I have suffered miserably from. I am, at least temporarily, lactose intolerant. I finally slept last night! I have never been SOOO... excited about being lactose intolerant! ! :) HEY LACTOSE YOU ARE NO LONGER A FRIEND OF MINE!!! I UNFRIEND YOU! And for all of you that have had this problem for life I now understand. ..I empathize!

I used lose it for years. Every time I pull up the app it has all my old info. I'd love a fresh start. I did just download and start my fitness pal. It's very similar to lose it.

I'd volunteer to get a FB page started if the majority want to give it a try. I don't want to step on any toes - Lylabelle been doing a great job of keeping this going I'm just bored. I can wait :)

I think it easier to share photos and inspirational materials, educational links....
