  1. Haven't done it at all. Thank goodness!
  2. Smooth love tea - it takes good and covers some water intake. Trust me. Hasn't failed me yet!
  3. I was doing 800-1000 Calories and stalled. Dietitian told me 1,000-1,200 and broke the stall. Averaging 3 lbs a week. Try upping your calories and see if that helps
  4. How many calories are you taking in?
  5. Smooth move tea works AMAZINGLY! Got mine at Walgreens
  6. There are so many great flavors - cookies and cream, apple pie, peanut butter and jelly, etc.
  7. Yes - they are pretty awesome!
  8. Quest bars have great flavors and no nasty after taste and 20g of protein.
  9. It actually has the same effect on people who haven't had WLS. A friend was backed up when having MRSA and it came up on the internet that pear juice would help. And it did. Every once in awhile won't hurt. Nutritionist approved.
  10. I have a friend coming over to "go shopping" in my closet before I donate to goodwill. I have 5 boxes of clothes to donate!! I had to buy jeans (all were too big) and a few pairs of black slacks for work cuz nothing fits. What a great problem to have but so much money down the drain!!
  11. But gummys are not advised as they are sticky and can get stuck. I was told chewable did NOT include gummys
  12. Pear juice. Works like a dream. I get it in the baby food aisle at the store. Love it. Do not dilute it!
  13. I too tried the quest protein chips. It's like cardboard. Cured any craving I may have for chips. The bars, however, I haven't found one I didn't like. These are the only ones my nutritionist will allow me to have. I love them. Was told no nuts or seeds yet for fear they will work their way into the staple line
  14. Beep from.......??? Not sure what would make us beep?
  15. I have noticed a little but more in the shower. Not enough to be alarmed as I have a good amount of hair but I have noticed it. HOPING it's minimal like this.
  16. I have bought one pair of pants for work. Got a size smaller and the first time I wore them they are already starting to sag. I have two friends bringing me clothes tomorrow to try on and keep if they fit. I am not buying if I don't have to.
  17. I am 8 weeks post op and I started boxing things up for Goodwill. Work pants, capris and jeans are the first to go. Then a month ago I broke my ankle so I have to keep a few pairs of pants that are WAY too big cuz they fit over the boot I have to wear. Once the boot is gone - so are 4 more pairs of pants! I just rediscovered clothes in my guest room closet that I forgot about...will try those on and see how that goes. The tops are moving a little slower but I have a friend who wants to "shop" in my closet for tops before I donate anything.
  18. I use a fitbit to track steps so bought the fitbit Aria. It synchs to your wireless and keeps track for you!
  19. Niquee - my fitness pal app is the best way to track your food intake!
  20. I can't believe that tomorrow is 8 weeks for me!!! We've come a long way, everyone!! I will have to try and find a full shot before picture then have someone take a "at this time....." Picture. Congrats, all!!
  21. I think a bunch are on Facebook so don't post here also anymore. It's a lot to post everything twice. I still check this page daily as well as Facebook.
  22. Lylabelle. I agree. A monthly thread vs a weekly. With the Facebook page I think monthly on here is a great idea!
  23. Interesting. Doc hasn't given me permission to take anything yet. Pain meds for broken ankle had to be crushed. Will have to ask him at appointment tomorrow.
  24. Question to those taking biotin - are you taking the tablets? Of so - are you crushing them to taking them whole?
