June 5th here too! Getting excited and just starting to get nervous now.

How are all of you early June Sleevers doing???

Are you June 5th Sleevers ready? I'm SO ready to get this over with. Not looking forward to any pain but, no pain no gain, or lose in this case I guess. Well, good look to everyone!

I'm about 18 hours out. Things aren't too bad. I don't have any drains in and I've been up and walking just fine. I'm most sore when I try to get up. I've had quite a few bouts of nausea but they've been quick with the zofran when I need it. I also have an anti-nausea patch on so that's helped, too. All in all I feel pretty good, considering.

Hey all,

Surgery went well. Pain was tolerable and managed. I walked every hour 3 laps of the hospital. The staff were really positive. My Dr. released me yesterday. He said all you have to worry about the next 2 weeks is walk. ,get my Protein in , Hydrate and he even told me to add a little cottage cheese into my diet. No problems getting my fluids and protein down. The sleeve lets me know when I'm getting full and I set things down until I can sip again.

I'm off my cholesterol medication

I'm taking so much less of my insulin

Glad to be back home!

Jenn

Mrs. King,

awe thanks. Wising you the best! You will be waking up in the recovery room soon

Jenn

Well, I've had 2 meals on clear liquids and they think I'm doing so well that I get to go on full liquids for dinner! Also, probably going home tonight. :D Other than being super sore, I feel great and am surprised at how well my recovery is going.

My surgery is on June 10th. I am so afraid that part of me want to back out, but i know that i cannot. I have 4 daughters and the youngest is 4 years old. I am so scared about the dangers of surgery. How are you post-ers feeling? what has been the most challenging part of your recovery?

I'm June 10, too. Had my preop yesterday an I feel much more relaxed after talking with the doc. Hang in there - we will both be on our road to skinny soon!
