  1. Don't worry that is normal.. You will lose all that extra weight in a day or 2 max.. Believe me the more i ate the more weight i lost, and stalls are 100% normal especially starting week 5 .. Try to eat 5 meals a day.. I know its not easy, but try.. BUT, always keep in mind, low calorie, low fat and low sugar food.... Good luck

  3. Cant find FB page. A_y_gad@yahoo.co.uk Thanx
  4. Have you started soft foods. I was thinking the same when I was on liquids only but when I hit soft foods I was amazed how little I could eat. If you are eating a lot of soup you might have some water weight from sodium. I was June 10 and have lost 10, sx weight was 218. It depends on where you started too. I have the same issue now, im still in liquids phase, lost 26 lbs since Surgery on 11th but whenever i cheat and start eating very soft food, omg, i feel like i swallowed a rock!! Stall for a few days now..
  5. 2-3 tops p-ruck21... And in a week time you will probably be. Back to normal... Good luck
  6. Yeah, i know... 20 lbs are fine... Its just that im too anxious i guess... Thanx for the support Who Dat

  11. Movinon, I saw my dr. Today and he confirmed that everything is fine, and even told me to start my mashed/pureed in 10 days. I went crazy today and had a creamy dip... Tooo fatty for my stomach, i was sweating, tired, nauseous and i had to rest for an hour.. I am fine now, but the experience was not nice at all. Today is my first time to say it out loud, i do not regret it and so far it has been worthy. You hang in there, and i think it will be the best decision of your life.. A little tough at the early stages but it gets better.

  13. Had some soup while my wife and daughter had some grilled chicken, i got jealous and ordered creamy dip, had a tsp.... Dumping syndrome SUCK!!!!! be careful guys... Not worth it i can you tell you that.
  14. Hey Movinon, Still have the pains with any intake, but fluids are going in much easier. Lost 16.5 lbs so far and feeling better except for those pains. I talked to my dr. And will see him and will see him tomorrow morning. Thank you so much for your concern. How are you?
  15. You can never imagine how much i am walking. My wife is always telling to take it easy. I am trying my best. Thank you for sharing- i am relieved now knowing that i am not the only one with those pains . I feel so much better now.... You are the best )))))))
  16. Movinon, i do have a low grade fever but i was told that this is normal post op up to to 2 weeks, the pain is mainly where the kidneys are ... And is it normal to feel it with almost every sip then disappears, then maybe every meanwhile it hits constantly for a few hours then disappears again. I am sipping all day so i do not think it is dehydration Amandaseiders, i was a self pay too and my insurance will not cover anything related either.... Have no idea what to do... But i was told that if it is a leak, you will JUST know it is a leak... CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And worried ????????????????
  17. I have no idea, I don't have much pain anymore but I just don't feel full. And I saw someone above mentioned eating too much causing leaks so now I am nervous that I am eating and drinking too much. This whole thing is scary. That is exactly what is making me nervous too.... Its horrifying.. Especially that i am having weird pain that just developed 3 days ago.. I feel shooting pain around my back, as if they are both kidneys .... I have no idea what is going on AND i am terrified, my appointment with my surgeon is still after the weekend...
  18. Me too!!!! Im still on liquids, 9 days post op and literally i am sipping all day, either soup, water or milk, i feel pain but apparently i don't feel full!!! Or maybe i do and all this is craving!!! Im confused . The good thing is that i lost 14 lbs since surgery day. What do u think?
