Mrs King, I'm also June 5th but that's a Thursday. Freaked out for a bit. Just wanted to let you know incase you are planning for a Friday date.

But I'm not so nervous yet. Or excited. I just want the day to come. I want to be done with it so I can start with this new life I have been waiting for. Congrats to all us June Sleevers!

Ooooops!! I meant June 6th

My surgery is on June 10th. I am so afraid that part of me want to back out, but i know that i cannot.

I have 4 daughters and the youngest is 4 years old. I am so scared about the dangers of surgery.

How are you post-ers feeling? what has been the most challenging part of your recovery?

So glad to have met so many good people who are in this together.

My kids are what makes this the scariest thing for me too. I have five kids ages 2-7. I'm heartbroken to be leaving them at home for a week to do this. My son asked me if I'm going to die. :( I can't say "no" because that is a risk no matter how small... But thankfully we have a very strong faith in God being in control of our lives so that helps us. I'm the most concerned about not having enough energy to keep up with the kids the first few months post op. But that will pass. Good luck to you! I'm glad to not be the only mom of young kids doing this! :)

June 3 for me - tomorrow! Eek!
