Hi friends! I was sleeved June 3rd. Stinkville for me last week. Got really dehydrated and ended up in hospital. 3 days and I'm still here. Cannot keep anything but Water and broth down. And even that's a challenge. Having an upper GI tomorrow. Ugh! Just boosted from pureed to soft food and now this. Fingers crossed there are no strictures in there. :(

Oh no good luck! I hope no strictures and everything goes well. I, too have been having vomiting issues on and off this week...it's so strange. I see my surgeon for my first post op appointment tomorrow. Hope we all get better fast and soon!

Hang in there Krissy....sending prayers and hugs! Xo

June 19 here! Doing really well, with the exception of a headache here and there. Today is the first time I've been hungry, which I'm not liking at all. I need to get more Protein in. They have me using the Protein Shots (liquid whey protein) and the only kind Walmart had was Acai berry. Barfola! First thing tomorrow I'm on the hunt for a different kind!

I'm down 22lbs from the start of my two week liquid diet.

Hi there. Sleeved on the 17th. Down 8 pounds from surgery. Having some difficulty getting in liquids and Proteins. Every Protein Drink u try is disgusting to me. Emotional and tired. I am hopeful that as I progress through this journey, I start to feel better.

Hi! I was sleeved on Jun 18. I'm doing much better today. It is less painful to get my fluids in. I am making a conscious effort to walk and drink!

Are you getting in all your Protein too? I feel like I can drink and walk, but the protein gets me every day.

I need help. Surgery on Wednesday June 18th late afternoon. No drinks nothing all day.

Thursday thought the world was ending. Sick and everything made me want to get sick. smells, Water, medicine

Friday ok day felt like a human

Sat good except not knowing how long in between sips of water and sips of food. Is the 30 minute no drinking rule in effect for the liquid phase?

Sunday good day except I think I had too much water in a short period of time.

Not doing well on the Protein front. The smells of the Protein Shakes have made me sick. I gulped them in the pre diet to get them down cant do that now.

I am down a lot of weight and that is great but I don't know how I can make it to the next phase which with my Dr. is July 18th for pureed foods.

Also have had bad pain in my right hamstring getting better but hurt real bad right after surgery.

Oh yeah I am not very tired either. Thought I would be without protein and stuff.

Thanks for any advice,

Rodney

I had issues today getting in all my protein. May need to switch to something different tomorrow.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
