Hiccups

Hi, I am on day 6 post surgery and can't stop hiccuping. Did anyone else go through this and can give me any advice how to stop it? Also when does the drinking get easier please? I am so thirsty and feel like I need to drink a full bottle of Water but obviously can't. Thank you in advance

I found that eating something sweet, like sucking on a hard candy or putting a small pinch of sugar on your tongue will help stop the hiccups. I get them whenever I eat more than I should. Instead of getting nauseated or vomiting, I hiccup. Hope this helps you.

If you hiccup it's because you are too full. I had the same problem. I still get them 3 years later if I over eat. Adding sugar isn't the answer:) good luck!
