I am considering doing this surgery and have done a lot of research on it. I spent a lot of time reading other participants' blogs and journals and none of them has any regrets doing this. Reading the title of this thread, I was expecting to see the first negative review. I am much more determined to do this now. Thanks for sharing.

    I feel like your post is exactly what I needed to read today. I am about two months away from having surgery and am a "healthy and active" fat mom. I have my doubts that this is the best thing for me but your post really spoke to me, it reminds me so much of myself and I can't wait to be the better version on myself.
