  1. I am also 3 months post VSG and I feel similar. But it comes and goes, I notice it especially on days that I burn more calories and am more active. I think I also need to drink more water which would curb the hunger. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 192
  2. I have a 1 and 4 yr olds and had tough time and needed lots of help after surgery. You can't lift for 10 days after surgery. Can you have any family or have someone Help out while recovering? Now, 3 months out no Problems and I eat about as Much as my 4 yr old now [emoji4] VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 192
  3. Sleeved 11/22 and down 35 lbs. I know I need to be more strict on plan and exercise more.
  4. I am 3 minutes months out from VSG and could eat that whole plate, I would be extremely full and definitely feel the restriction and uncomfortable, but I could eat that much. (Not that I would )
  5. The P3 are great except the lunchmeat part which is 1/3 of the snack. Also I am worst cook eve so sadly cooking lunch won't work for Me. I will have to try those lean cuisines and maybe get less picky.
  6. I have a hard time eating lunch meat, too slimy or something. Yes I do like Wendy's chili but don't like the beans but wish I did since they are healthy. I wouldn't mind eating the same thing everyday for lunch, just need to find something healthy for everyday.
  7. I work full time and am having hard time with healthy lunch options. Either I have to plan a crockpot chicken meal at home ahead of time, or I end up going to chipotle (chicken salad bowl) or McDonalds (2 plain grilled snack wraps). Any ideas on healthy BariatricPal friendly options that I can either bring to work or stop to grab?
  8. Sleeved 11/22. Feel much better but still get hungry, wondering if this will ever subside. I am losing but he slowed down. Feel better 30 lbs down, no out of breath going up stairs, no sweating, more energy, fit in smaller clothes VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  9. Love the Patches. I couldn't deal with eating Vitamins for first few weeks after surgery so they were lifesavers. I am still using them 2 months post op. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  10. Totally normal. My big incision hurt til week 4 post op. The more active do you are each day, it might actually get slightly worse before gets better. But it will get better VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  11. We all know the no drinking before/during/after meals guidelines for the most part with the sleeve. But I'm not sure about Protein shakes. I still drink 2 premier Protein Shakes per day and not sure if I have to space those out like a liquid (for me it's no drinking 15 min before and 30 min after eating). Anyone ask their NUT about this or know the answer? VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  12. I am 7 weeks out and didn't feel full until recently. The puréed foods did not make me feel full ever. Now on regular food I can really feel my restriction after eating a small amount. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  13. I'm just wondering what happens? Vomit/diarrhea or just stomach pain? I had a tiny bit of lettuce in a wrap and thought I had food poisoning but maybe it was letttuce intolerance? VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 196
  14. Yes agree with Rachel412. Wait til you are done breastfeeding. Milk production is drastically less if caloric intake is not sufficient which it won't be during preop and post op. Good luck to you and congrats on your baby! VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 201
  15. I am 6 weeks out (almost) and my pain just went away. I had sever inner deep suture Pain right near My belly button. I couldn't get in or out of cars or sit at my desk it hurt. But it does get better! Hang in there! VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 203
  16. Most cases also get a catheter to pee so they need access. It was that time of the month during my surgery so it made me feel extra uncomfortable but looking back it was the least of my problems VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 203
  17. I have SLE lupus, am 4 weeks out from sleeve. No issues or flares as of yet. I am trying to nap daily and get as much rest as possible (to prevent a flare) but so far so good. Also feel free to msg me if you have questions. Good luck. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 203
  18. Stalled too. No loss in 1 week. Actually up .5. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 204
  19. Happy birthday and congrats on your success!! VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 204
  20. Not necessarily. I had a DVT about 8 years ago, I was sleeved 3 weeks ago. They put you on blood thinners before during and after surgery. I received heparin shots for 2 days after surgery. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
  21. Hi thank you all. I am doing much better, the heat compress really helped. I still feel pain in that area but gets less every day. I think the vomiting in the hospital did something to my inner stitches that caused more pain than otherwise would have had. (I was throwing up from the pain meds very hard, was very painful at that same area). Thank you all for he support, so thankfully no infection and that severe pain is gone. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
  22. The doctors told me as you increase activity post op it's normal for the pain to get worse temporarily. I was in worse Pain at 2 weeks post op then I was at 1 week post op. I went in and they said it was muscular and time and cold and heat compresses. Sue enough about 3 days later the pain started going away. I'm almost 3 1/2 weeks post op now and feeling much better, still sore near belly button inside at times. Hope you recover soon, your body has a natural ability to heal itself. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
  23. I wish I lived In Clearwater!! I love it there! VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
  24. I haven't had a c section but I had 2 childbirths with tearing. This surgery was far more painful than both childbirths (one was over 27hours of labor) both with stiches. I was in pain (severe abdominal pain) for a good 2 weeks after right near my belly button. It is just starting to ease up where I don't need Tylenol ever 4 hours. Getting in and out of car still hurts bad. I am 2 and half weeks post op. VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
  25. Wow great work!!! Congrats!! VSG date: 11/22/16 HW: 225. SW:222. CW: 206
