8 Months & 120 Pounds Gone (& pics)

Just did my 8 month post op comparison pics & seeing the drastic change has given me the encouragement I need to push through & lose the last 12.6 pounds. It seems like the closer I get to goal the harder it is!

Anyhow here are my numbers...

Starting weight - 8/5/13- 278.4

Surgery weight - 8/12/13- 270.6

Weight @ 8 mos- 8/12/14- 157.6

120.6 pounds lost & 90.55% of excess weight lost.

Hopefully this can encourage someone who is struggling! :-)

Amazing! Great job!

Wow veg rookie you look great! Congrats!

You look amazing. How have you gotten your arms so toned. I'm always working on my arms. I practically have weights attached to my hands anytime I have spare time.

Thank you! I appreciate it! I am actually super self-conscious of my arms! lol. I have done nothing specific to tone them. I run which does work your arms a little, but nothing targeted. I do things like the elliptical, cycling, zumba, yoga, but again, nothing really targeted for arms. Once I hit my goal weight I want to start strength training to tone them.

Thank you! My starting weight was 328 however my highest weight was 340. Day of surgery I was 308 and today I'm 190. I'm hoping for another 30lbs. Sounds like you are doing fabulous! Keep it goin!!!

I applaud you all for your tenacity and hard work which brought you to this point! I'm down 57 lbs. from top wt. 236 and already notice skin beginning to sag. I'd better start in with weights again soon!

Tell me livvsmom, HOW in the world do you find the time between meals to get 80 oz. of water into (and through) that little sleeve?! This has been my biggest challenge.

I once did the math to figure out how to drink 64 oz of water per day. Taking into consideration the rules for not drinking around my 3 meals/day, I must drink 6 to 8 oz EVERY HOUR.
