Hi guys!

I've seen quite a few people post where they live ( I live in the southern suburbs, Glenwood Il ) but Has anyone actually formed a support group yet? I'm really interested.

I am in Winfield, IL. I notice a lot of DuPage county responses. There are some fantastic forest preserves in the area with covered shelters. Anyone from DuPage interested in setting a time to meet at one of the shelters for a support group? Im thinking Blackwell or McDowell woods. We can use the paths for some exercise after.

So am I :). I'm from Evergreen Park

I am in Mount greenwood and would love to join a support group! !! Let me know

Hello Illinois people. I'm in the West Side of Chicago almost 6 months post-op! I'm still looking for WLS people to chat with, exchange thoughts, concerns, and even vent with in regards to our journey. Haven't found a group I can join locally; anybody know of one in Chicago?

Can someone please email me a recommendation for a lap band doc in Chicago or nearby suburbs. Crystalde77@gmail.com it's hard finding a new doc but from the bad bedside manner I need to find a new one. Thxs

I used Dr Gerard Cahill in evergreen park. He's at the little company of Mary. I loved him and his team

I'm in southern Chicago myself. Just wanted to throw my name out there if anyone did end up forming a group. Having DS on the 20th of January.

Hello Illinois people. I'm in Chicago (the city)!!! I'd like to find a support group, the hospital where I had surgery has a support group that meets only once a month for their patients only.

Hey there! In the city too, Jefferson Park! Did you ever find a group in the city?? :)

I like little Little Company of Mary's groups. They have LapBand at 6pm and RnY/Sleeve at 7pm on the first Tuesday of the month. 2800 95th street in Evergreen Park. It's not my hospital, but there are many long term WLS patients at the RnY/Sleeve meeting. It's worth my hour drive to get there.

@@JustWatchMe, can anyone just show up to this meeting ? If so would you mind giving me their number or do they have a website? Thank you in advance
