Honestly now that I think about I wouldn't mind being an 8. The single digits once in my adult life would be awesome!

Right now after a ninety five pound loss I am a size 16/18 I'd like to lose about 20-25 pounds, which would probably make it a size12/14. Good enough for me.

Size 10/12's to me are the sexiest women. Hopefully, I'll be there one day.

Maybe this is just me, but I think having an ideal dress size is a little silly (it's totally fine if you do, this is just my opinion for myself). We make dress size into an identity, when in reality sizes vary widely across brands. I could probably pull on a size 6 pair of pants laying down and sucking in, but that doesn't make me a "size 6" and it doesn't mean that a pair of pants in a size 6 in another brand wouldn't fit great. We talk about ourselves like we a "are" a dress size, but we are the same size no matter what size pants we end up wearing. That being said, I know how painful it was wearing plus size clothes and I feel the same joy that everyone else does when our weight loss comes along with smaller clothes. So my ideal dress size is looking good in whatever size clothes I wear.

I'd love to be a 9/10. I'm 12/14 at almost 2 years out. I still have hope I'll get to a 9/10.

I was a size 24 pant and 2x shirt. 2 weeks after surgery and I'm in a 1x shirt and 18 pant. I would love to get down to a 6/8 or med. I'm 5'3 so my goal weight is 120. We will see though.

This size target continues to change through maintenance. But as so many others have pointed out, sizing is unreliable, store to store.

In the last month (while weighing 140-143 pounds) I have bought clothing that ranges from size 2 petite to XL. I kid you not! For the record, I'm 5'5" with bust/waist/hip measurements of 39" - 29.5" - 39".

A word to the wise: Don't assume when you hit the first new all-time lowest size (or one you've not fitted into for 30+ years) that your weight / size losses are over. I now wish I'd not invested in any new size 10s.

Live and learn. ;)

I'm 5'6", ideally I would be a size 8.

I am 5'4" and went from a size 24 to a size 10. I love being small but still have curves. I thought about losing more but I'm comfortable at 158. I want to maintain in the 150's.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
