Australia - Melbourne

Hi Everyone

I am from Melbourne and am starting a support group.

Sometimes you can feel alone not knowing many or any other people that have had weight loss surgery, and there are always so many questions that we have and support that we need.

Sometimes it helps just to talk to someone that can relate to you

I would love to hear from others in Melbourne, Victoria that are interested in this support group.

Hope to hear from you soon

Leanne

Glad to say i am pretty much pain free now unless i bang the staples on something or i twist or turn the wrong way. But what i have found is that i need to listen to my body when it needs a rest. As i can run out of energy pretty quickly.

Shell I was having serious noises, out of control, I have had to cut all dairy out as it's quite common to become lactose intolerant following sleeve surgery the nurse told me.

So yeah I cut the dairy out and it's improved a hell of a lot. Only troubles me now if I eat too much

I love dairy so much I do have to drink lactose free milk but I've gone back to full lactose to try and help with my constipation issue it hasn't helped

Whats the difference between pureed and mushy Demon. Thats also quite a recipe Shell I have to admit I ate alittle bit of chicken meat today. I chewed it up really well before swallowing and it when down ok and tasted awesome. But I'll stick to my pureed foods again. I also managed to go to the bathroom for the first time in 5 days. It was like rock hard sheep's pellets lol.

Difference between the 2 stages kiwi jet is that mushy isn't quite as puréed, but still soft. Does that make sense? I saw my dietician last week, for my week 3 foods (puréed) and week 4 and solids, and they have given me a sheet for each with suggested foods, things to avoid etc.
