Very personal, loose skin around my vag.

Recommended Posts

I had my sleeve in Dec of 2013. I've been so happy with the weight loss, nearly 60 lbs. gone. I am having issues with loose sagging skin especially in the vaginal area. I have it on my belly too but I plan on having a Tummy Tuck for that. I have so much loose fat down there and it's only gonna sag more the more I loose. Anyone else have these worries? I'm now googling Labiaplasty because it bothers me that much. I do workout but I don't think there's any exercise that can help with this area,

Don't rush into plastic surgery - you'll be surprised how things firm up over time. My skin tightened and I kept thinking I must be gaining weight and filling back out, but a quick check of the scales dismissed that. The human body is an amazing thing - constantly changing and adapting to the things we do to it over time! Do you have a regular sexual partner? How old are you? All these things will affect your body and mind.

Well done with the weight loss and stop obsessing about your changing body! Give it (and yourself) a break!

I am 39 yrs old. And yes I have a very active sex life. I'm very self conscious of that area down there, hoping things firm up as u say. Thank you !

I had the same problem. You will probably find that your plastic surgeon will tell you that will be taken care of with your Tummy Tuck. When he told me that I really thought there was no way a tummy tuck could take care of a fat vag... I was pleasantly surprised.

Yep a Tummy Tuck will take care of most of it anyway. When they make the incision to repair the muscles, they pull the tummy skin down and cut off excess skin and the lower belly skin up and cut off excess skin before meeting in the middle to close up.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
