I am right there with you. Don't know why but I can go from happy to crying to angry in a blink of an eye. My poor husband and kids are doing the best they can to deal with it but I feel terrible. I was sleeved 12/17/13 and am praying that in time it will get better.

I too have horrible mood swings. I finally called my doctor and started therapy. It's to early to see results so I found that I just keep my distance from people which sucks but I can't tell when I will snap so it the best thing for now until they figure out what's wrong.

I was having mood swings as well really got annoyed with people(boyfriend -friends) now seem to have mellowed out. I am 7 1/2 months post op. I hope you feel better soon. I think it is the big change we go through due to the surgery that causes the mood swings. We can't run to our favorite food for solace.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
