hi everyone! i haven't been on in awhile...as usual it's crazy around here. I have been stuck for about two months now...that's also part of the reason i haven't been on...when the scale is moving, it's exciting to get on here and move my ticker:) i'm not too discouraged...i love my new size 16 (from 22/24) body, but this is the first time i haven't had steady loss since my surgery. i had my first fill 2 weeks ago...they couldn't believe i'd lost 49 lbs without a fill...that was encouraging. i thought the scale would start moving again immediately, but not so. i am not as hungry between meals as i was before, so that is good.

glad to hear about all the grandbabies...my parents love being grandparents...my kids have them wrapped around their fingers:) congrats everyone!

49 pounds without a fill really is an accomplishment as far as I'm concerned! I'm sure you'll fall off that plateau soon. I think exercise is the key. If you are already exercising, switch it up in some way and see if that helps. We can do this!!!

My band has given me my life back!

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY BAND:

I am a much happier person.

I am healthier!

I have confidence.

I have found that I enjoy working out.

I know I deserve to have nice things (before I didn't think I did).

I can wear my hubbys shirts and feel cute.

I don't mind my picture being taken.

Hubby can't keep his hands off me!

I like to shop for clothes.

Feel free to add to it!

What I love about my band:

I have more energy

I took up running (well, jogging) and love it

Don't mind exercising

Not out of breath as easily

Love to go shopping now, and care about what I am wearing

Feel good about myself

Things I love about my band...

*The 77# I'm not lugging around with every step

*Shopping...in the entire store, not the plus sizes

*Tieing my shoes...and breathing at the same time

*Making ME a priority...taking the time for exercise and making healthy food instead of quick & easy junk

*My kids are eating better, exercising more and loosing weight too

*This is not temporary, I have a permanent back-up for when I "fall of the wagon"

*I know I'm still seriously overweight...but I feel NORMAL!

i was just telling my dad the other day that i am no longer morbidly obese! I was pretty excited about it. He still doesn't know about the surgery...he would croak if he knew how much money we spent:)

Everyone is doing so well...

I love shopping in all parts of the store.

I love not feeling hungry ALL the time.

I love not being out of breath all the time.
