Happy Birthday Laureli! I turned 30 in June. Even though I was not in onderland, I knew I was on my way and that made it easier.

Has anyone thought about posting pictures of before and now, so we could all get more motivated? Just a thought!

Thanks everyone for the congrats and b-day wishes. I am so happy!!

Twinmommy--I think posting pics showing our progress would be great. It is a great motivator. I have a pair of pants that were 22's that were too tight right before my surgery that I took a pic in yesterday. I hadn't realized how big they were until I tried to put them on yesterday. I can pull them off and on without unbuttoning them now. Actually, when I put them on and they fell right back down. I had planned to post it in the before & after thread as soon as I get a chance to figure it out.

Sandra: Maybe you should find out now exactly how much the dress can be let out/sized up. That might give you a little peace of mind. I'm thinking it should be possible to size it up to an 18, but I'm no seamstress and just purely guessing. Maybe someone else here would know?

Melissa: You didn't get the job because it wasn't the right job. I know you wanted it, but I'm firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Keep looking and the right job will come along, I promise. :-)

I am trying to catch up on posts, and legster, you just made me feel better! I interviewed for a new job too and did not get it. I have been so depressed! I am trying to just be thankful that I have a good job!

I just got back from vacation. While on our trip, my car was broken into (crow bar to the passenger window!!) and my laptop was stolen. PLEASE if you use a laptop, back up what is precious to you (pictures!!) and put them on a cd or another computer!!

I didn't gain any weight on vacation, but I didn't lose any more either. I am going for my 4th fill tomorrow. My doc does Saturday fill appts once a month. He has 75 patients tomorrow!!!

I am going to keep catching up!

Ginger,

I never had my laptop stolen but I did have a hard drive crash and they were unable to get my pics off of it. Every since then I do not even erase the pics from my camera until they are backed up on my other pc and uploaded to an image storage site. I have yahoo dsl and it comes with our service, unlimited storage online. I use Flickr and like it a lot. Now even if my house were to burn down I would not lose any pics from the last 7 years.

Ginger, I'm glad I could help! :-)

Ragdoll, I can see a difference in the 1 month and 2 month. It's in your abdomen on the side view, very clearly. Your rear, too!

My second fill is a little better than the first, but absolutely not the sweet spot. I'm going to wait until 15 days past the last fill to call for another appt. That way I'll be sure the "delayed response" time frame will be past. I've had a few "hungry days". Even so, I have never eaten anything to be ashamed of, just eaten more food than I should. WE CAN DO THIS!

Ragdoll- your pics are great. I can tell a difference. I wish I had done that! I wish my pics were backed up, I can tell you I have learned my lesson!

I went for my 4th fill today. I am up to 12.4 cc. I have no idea what my band will hold. I was surprised when I got there that I was at 202! I have officially hit the 30lb mark. It was 3 months on 8/4, so I am averaging 10lbs a month. It seems slow, but I have to remember it takes time, LOL! So, I should be able to hit onderland in the next week!

Hope your weekend is going well!

Ragdoll, nice pics. I can definitely see a difference, like was said in your tummy, bottom, and in your face. Good for you! Now I wish I had taken some pictures. I'm just kind of camera shy from the weight issue, not used to having them taken. I think I'll have hubby or one of my daughters start documenting though. Good incentive!

Twin mommy, onderland is SO close for you. How exciting. I now have 5 pounds to go myself but is is SLOW. Woo Hoo for you:clap2:

Has anyone hit their "sweet spot" yet? I need someone to be specific with me about how much is too much! I ate a happy meal tonight. Does that seem like a lot to you?

I am headed back to work tomorrow (I am a teacher). I am sure people will want to eat out all week! This could be a long week.

I have tons of work to do instead of eating out, but it is fun to catch up with everyone, LOL!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
