I'm cold all the time as well. I used to sweat like mad over the summer - I'm really interested to see how I tolerate the heat now.

Pre-surgery, the only part of me that ever got cold were my arms and hands. Now I have to wear theramal underwear to keep warm. :-) But I wouldn't go back to the old me for nuthin!

I am cold most of the time...sweatshirts and big socks are wardrobe staples for me. Pre-surgery, I was always hot.

This is something I hope happens to me. It's so hot in Henderson NV. (Las Vegas) I hate summers here.

I'm really looking forward to cheaper electric bills this summer. It's so much easier to warm up than it is to cool off!

I was wondering what the summer will be like if I will be hot or if the heat will feel good!

After surgery I am always cold too... Dr says my Iron is low and suggests I take an iron supplement but of course I don't. I'd rather be cold than constipated I know TMI but true lol.

I'm in Vegas too and since surgery I'm constantly cold too. Definitely agree and hope that it's still the case when the spring and summer heat shows up :)

Cold all the time...all the time. Socks to bed, hoodie in the house and long sleeve shirts to sleep in. Light bill is outrageous because I have to crank up the heat. Pretty sad that I want a hot flash.

I called myself a "walking furnace" before the surgery, always roasting hot in the summer, and always warm in the winter.

I'm a month post-op tomorrow, and I cannot BELIEVE how often my fingers and nose are freezing cold and I always seem to need a "blankie" when I'm home on the couch watching TV or something. It's amazing and funny to me how that works.

Also, in slightly related news, I have found through my workouts that I barely sweat now, whereas before I'd break a sweat just walking across a room. I wonder if the struggle to get as much Fluid in as possible has to do with this, or if it's another component of our altered internal thermostats?

Interesting indeed.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
