Donaboss, I was 220 in August, sleeved 11/18, now 170. scale hasn't moved in 30 days. Scale has crept down since 11/18, barely moving. I am going to try to do more activities when the weather warms a bit. My husband feels the same, did I get sleeved? We are both feeling very little restriction. The best part is we do not have that terrible hunger pain nagging away all the time. You are not alone in this journey, so hang in there! We have bigger rewards ahead, I promise! Linda

I am two months out and no food has bothered me either. It kind of scares but in a way I think were lucky that nothing bothers us. I've lost 72lbs my scale has not moved all week. I plan to start Zumba next week to get motivated in working out. I wanted to this week but I have a horrible cold. Good luck!

The only thing that has bothered me was broccoli. It made me feel really uncomfortable and nauseous. I love the fact that my sweet tooth is gone and I no longer think about food constantly. It has lost its allure.

I am glad I am not the only one. Even pizza goes down easily. I don't eat a lot of course but I am shocked lol. Oh I haven't tried soda and I don't plan on it. I was 213 on day of surgery decker 30 and as of today I am 179

I am almost 7 months post-op, I can't eat any red sauces (spaghetti, pizza, barbeque) just the smell of them makes me sick in the stomach. I was having major issues with steamed cauliflower but now I can eat it just fine. I have problems with forgetting to sip my Water, I tend to gulp and that's when my stomach feels like it's about ready to burst.

The only thing that's bothered me has been certain kinds of cuts when it comes to beef, and pork, and Pasta. Other that that I can tolerate everything. However, my taste buds have changed, and I'm really sensitive to sweets. I have tried everything too. Guilty. I don't like the taste of chocolate, pizza, or any fast food! I'll stick to my chicken, and veggies please lol.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
