  10. I had my sleeve and hernia repair on April 15th. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I still had problems with the hernia repair at 2 1/2 months out. I started to feel half way normal by 3 months. My dr compared the hernia repair to a cut on your hand. While it is trying to heal, every time you move your hand, it opens the cut back up so it will take longer to heal. He said every time i would eat our drink anything, it was aggravating the hernia repair. BUT, eventually it does get better. It just really stinks for the first couple of months. The hernia gave me a lot more problems than my actual sleeve. 4 1/2 months out, I'm doing great. Down 74lbs from my surgery weight of 274. Hang in there guys!

  20. No 6 month waiting period. I had my first appt with the Dr on march 24 and had my surgery in April 15. It was crazy how fast it went. They actually wanted me to do the surgery a wk before but I couldn't get off work that quick.
  21. I was sleeved April 15. I started at 274lb day of surgery. As of today, I weigh 232. My surgeon wants me to weigh 210 at my 3 month appt. Kind of worried about losing those 22lbs in a month. I really want to reach this first goal he has set for me. My goal weigh for complete weight loss is 165lbs.
  22. I dyed mine at 7 Weeks out. So far no problems with it
