So l had my first appt with the wls clinic this past Monday (24), nut the next day, and yesterday the psych eval. The drs office just called me and said my insurance has already approved me. It only took one day! I am SOOOO in shock. So depending on when my husband can get off work, I'm having my surgery on April 15 or 17!!!! It's a good thing I've been on here for hours every night for the past month researching.

@Pepper123-I have humana for Kentucky state employees. It is amazing. I have a little bit if a deductible, but my total out-of-pocket for the year is $2500 so that is the most I'll have to pay. I'm so excited but just a little overwhelmed that it is happening so fast. Thanks everybody for all the encouragement. I love this forum

No 6 month waiting period. I had my first appt with the Dr on march 24 and had my surgery in April 15. It was crazy how fast it went. They actually wanted me to do the surgery a wk before but I couldn't get off work that quick.
