Cell Phone Coverage In TJ Also Electronic Plug in Questions

Recommended Posts

Anyone able to get cell phone coverage through Verizon while in TJ? What should I expect?

Also wondering if I will be able to use my standard plug in devices such as will I need an adapter?

I am probably over analyzing things but I want to be prepared :)

I have Ipad, Iphone, Heating Pad.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry no one has answered you,

I went to MX and they have american plugs, no need for adapters.

As far as cell phones I turned my on airplane mode and left it there, I talked to my family and friends via Whatsapp and Gtalk, I was able to video chat on G talk, even got to watch my kids basketball game that way. The hospital had a phone I could use if necessary.

Good luck you will be just fine!

I downloaded an app called viber. You can make free calls and texts through viber in TJ. You just have to make sure the people you want to talk to also have it downloaded. My patient coordinator told me about it.

I turned my phone to airplane mode. OCC and Marriott both had wifi, so I could communicate through Skype, email, FaceTime, and iMessage (for those that have iPhones)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
