Any july surgery dates?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! my date is on 7/5...this saturday in TJ! :/ I don't think it's hit me yet, but I know on Saturday I'll be freaking out...anyone else getting it done that day? Would love to have a sleeve buddy to text.

I'm July 1. Today I'm feeling scared and nervous. I'm trying to stay positive. I'm so happy that my husband and teen daughter will be with me in puerto vallarta. I need that support system.

Good luck and happy easy recovery!

July 3rd here for hubby and myself

Okay... so our surgery date had to move cause doc is out of town. We are now set for the 8th. Hubby will go first and doc will leave hubby's OR and come into mine. Yes we are nuts but that is why we love each other, and it works out better for my work schedule to take off once and not twice. :-) That and doc prefers to have couples done on the same day.

Ok I got home today. The surgery went great but took 3.5 hours cause apparently I had lots of muscle, weird! I'm still in some pain in my stomach but I'm walking pretty well. Trying to figure out the eating part is next!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
