What time of day do you exercise and why ?

I go lift on my lunch break. My gym is right around the corner from my office, so I get a 45-50 minute high paced intense workout in. Then have a Protein shake at my desk and soon after that I will munch on some whole unsweetened oats. I'll do cardio about twice a week, one weekday afternoon and usually on Saturdays.

If I don't "get 'er done" first thing in the morning, it ain't happening. The only bad thing about that is that argument I have with myself every morning when the alarm goes off.... get up, no, get up, no... This morning it lasted 45 minutes until I got completely ticked at myself, got up and went to the gym. I was 30 minutes late to work but I can always blame that on the commute! :)

I hear you on the variety... the gym I'm at has a LOT of classes and I enjoy trying different ones out. They used to have more "gentle" classes which I liked a lot -- many of them now are just too aggressive. But, I bought a package of personal training appointments and those have been very motivating. I meet with her once a week and she always varies up my workout, then I do some of those new things during the week before our next appointment. Helps break up the monotony of "just" weight lifting.

I am not an early morning person. There is no way I'm going to get up any earlier than I already do on weekdays. So I go after work, usually around 7 pm. I go around 10 am on weekends.

First thing in the morning to get my heart pumping 5x a week and on the weekends I go swimming in the cool of the afternoon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
