Random burst of diareah?! Three weeks out from having the sleeve. Have not had anything out of the ordinary from what I've been doing... Is that normal?

I'm wondering if ur suffering from dumping. I am only 4 days out and haven't had that happen yet :). Although I have heard it does happen.

Yes a lot of people think that you cannot dump with the sleeve, but you can....

Look back at what you ate in the last 24 hours and try them again one at a time and see what reaction you get...elimination is a great tool to see what you cannot tolerate...Other wise consider it a good cleaning out...K

I think I've experienced this with the Boost/Ensure nutrition drinks. I had two back to back (within a 5 hour span) and it totalled about 65g carbs...needless to say it went right through me and I didn't feel very good for a few hours!

There are things that are on my list that I can eat but they don't sit well with me and then I have the runs.....You can figure out what it is..Like other posters who have narrowed it down to this or that...no reason to panic.....you will figure it out...

Sometimes it just happens because of how you are feeling that day....This just is the way it is...But if it is a food issue better to try to find the culprit then keep having this trouble... :)

I'm 3 weeks out and have it every other day or so. Beats constipation!

The runs is not dumping. Still it is normal, especially before you are on solids. If it continues past solids and is happening most of the time (rather than rarely), talk to your doctor. It could be something you are eating that is not agreeing with you, it could be gall bladder issues, or could be just one of those things.

Yeah, I am not on solids yet so I expect the squirts to happen.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
