I'm one week and it's starting to hurt a little same side too. Last night it was soo itchy but today more pain. I'm back to work so it might have to do with my sitting down all morning

Ok, typical mom response here, but I'm also a sleever so...

Have you had good BM's? Because it does make a difference if that is lacking.

Either or it's probably intestinal issues.. Which are most likely normal (kind of). With that said... I'm not dr so ask your dr if our really concerned ;)

Yes, my pain was pretty bad for a couple weeks, getting better gradually and now very infrequent problem. Just been able to sleep on my sides for a couple days. Sleeve date was 12/10.

Thanks guys. I'm getting an ultrasound today. They said it sounds like a hematoma. For better news my surgery was 12/27 and I'm down 10 pounds!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
